Shopping Day, Christmas Joy
Today I went on Christmas shopping bent,
With eyes a-popping, at all that was sent.
So much to see, such lovely display,
It felt like my time to live for a day!

Oh, the lights a-sparkle, what glorious view!
A festive story for me and for you!
In every long queue, new souls I did greet,
To chat and to meet, the time felt so sweet!

All around me, the things bright and bold,
More than a story has ever told.
I make a purchase, and then one more,
It’s no wonder that my mind is unsure! (I’m happy but confused!)
