We three beetles, so hungry we are,

Bearing six legs, we travel so far,

Hedge and garden,

Field and grassland,

Searching for caterpillars.

Oh, Caterpillars juicy, caterpillars nice,

Tempting us beetles through the night,

Creeping, seeking, still proceeding,

Searching for that perfect bite.

Beetles are king of insects, we are

Black on black, our royal charter,

Eating ever, ceasing never,

Searching for caterpillars.

****************

Oh, Caterpillars juicy, caterpillars nice,

Tempting us beetles through the night,

Creeping, seeking, still proceeding,

Searching for the perfect bite.
